A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Sam Brown in Walthamstow.
[E] Kyle Kemp – 26 (24.09.95) of Manor Way, Mitcham was charged on Thursday, 4 August with the murder of Sam Brown which took place on Sunday, 24 July in Durban Road, E17.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court the same day and was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 8 August.
Kemp was arrested by detectives on 2 August.
The follows an investigation by homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
Police were called at around 00:35hrs on Sunday, 24 July, to reports of shots fired in Cheney Row Park off Durban Road, E17.
Sam Brown, 28, died in hospital after receiving gunshot injuries.
